The 2022 Super Duty® features strong performance with a powerful lineup of available engines. There's the available 6.7L Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel which features 1,050 lb.-ft. of torque as well as the available 7.3L gas V8, which features the best gas power ratings in its class. *

7.3L OHV PFI GAS V8

Design a gas-powered V8 built for strenuous duty, hauling heavy loads day in and day out, with commercial-grade durability, performance and efficiency and you get the port fuel-injected 7.3L. This pushrod V8 design optimizes low-end torque, and the variable-cam timing helps to optimize high-output power. And for the durability also required, the 7.3L features a cast-iron block with four-bolt and cross-bolted main bearings plus a forged-steel crankshaft. Want the largest, most powerful gas V8, rated at 430 hp and 475 lbs.-ft of torque, in a heavy-duty pickup?* This is it.

6.7L POWER STROKE® V8 TURBO DIESEL ENGINE

The available 6.7L Power Stroke®  V8 Turbo Diesel features a 36,000-psi fuel-injection system, featuring injectors that can atomize fuel up to eight times per stroke to optimize combustion. It also features stronger block, cylinder heads, connector rods and bearings, plus forged-steel pistons, which means 475 hp and 1,050 lb.-ft. of torque at 1,600 rpm. It produces maximum horsepower at a lower RPM than any other engine at 2,600 rpm.* Finally, the engine features an electric-actuated variable-geometry turbocharger that improves throttle response and efficiency.

6.2L FLEX-FUEL GAS V8

The 6.2L flex-fuel gas V8 is the standard engine in F-250 and F-350 models. It's engineered to deliver peak torque at lower rpm and generates high torque throughout the midrange of the power band. The SOHC valvetrain with roller-rocker shafts results in a stiff valvetrain with an optimized intake and exhaust port layout for better breathing. The 6.2L in the F-250 is teamed up with the TorqShift® G 6-speed transmission; in the F-350, it features the 10-speed automatic.

TORQSHIFT® 10-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

All Super Duty® models (except the 6.2L V8 F-250) feature a standard TorqShift® 10-speed automatic transmission, engineered to optimize drive ratios and improve shift performance. You can choose from five selectable modes - Normal, Slippery, Tow-Haul, Eco, Deep Sand/Snow and, with the available Tremor Package, an additional Rock Crawl mode. Ford is the only manufacturer to design and build all of its heavy-duty engine and transmission combinations - ensuring the powertrain works seamlessly with all chassis components and vehicle calibrations.

Outfit a Super Duty®  4x4 Crew Cab with the available Tremor Off-Road Package and make the off-road performance of today's premier heavy-duty pickup even better. * Choose the available 6.7L Power Stroke®  Turbo Diesel or the available 7.3L OHV gas V8, each with top-rated horsepower. ** The package includes 35-inch maximum-traction tires and off-road tuned front and rear suspension (including custom 1.7-inch twin-tube dampers), as well as all-terrain handling features like selectable Rock Crawl and Trail Control™ modes. Available on LARIAT, King Ranch®  and Platinum (F-250 and F-350 SRW).

INTEGRATED ELECTRIC WINCH

Super Duty® offers an available integrated electric winch with a 70-foot high-tensile strength, abrasion-resistant synthetic line and 12,000 pounds of winching power. The integrated electric winch is mounted behind the front steel bumper to provide optimized airflow and clearance, and includes the only wireless remote control in its class,* as well as a provision for a wired remote control. This winch can be bought new with your vehicle or installed by a Ford Dealer. **

TRAIL CONTROL™ AND ROCK CRAWL MODES

The available Tremor Off-Road Package features selectable Trail Control and Rock Crawl modes, allowing your truck to be better prepared to handle unusually rough terrain. Trail Control is a driver-activated cruise control system that helps you navigate more easily off the road, so you can focus all your attention on the thrill of steering over the demanding terrain. Rock Crawl mode calibrates your vehicle's systems to tackle low-speed obstacles you may encounter off-road.

The 2022 Ford Super Duty® available Tremor Off-Road Package features Best-in-Class* Water Fording up to depths of 33 inches. ** Extended vent axle tubes help you go deeper and the Tremor's limited-slip front differential and Rock Crawl™ mode can help push you even further.

The Ford Super Duty available Tremor Off-Road Package features 35-inch maximum traction tires, the largest tires ever fitted to a heavy-duty pickup. With a 2-inch front lift and a best-in-class* approach angle of 31.7 degrees, the Super Duty with Tremor Off-Road Package provides you with grip in virtually all off-road situations.

OFF-ROAD CAPABILITY

Don't settle for less. The available Tremor Off-Road Package provides the versatility you need while retaining the capability you've come to expect from Super Duty. The 2022 Super Duty with Tremor Off-Road Package features conventional towing of up to 15,000 lbs. and can haul up to 4,150 lbs. of payload. *

*15,000 lbs conventional towing available on all Tremor-equipped trucks. Max available payload on Tremor pack requires F-350 LARIAT with 7.3L gas. Bringing the amazing capabilities of Amazon Alexa to your Ford Super Duty® is as easy as connecting your phone, starting the Ford+Alexa app and connecting via available SYNC® 3 or SYNC® 4 AppLink.® * Access voice navigation, traffic information, over 50,000 skills and Amazon Prime shopping. You can even control your supported smart-home devices. Stay connected from just about anywhere while on your next adventure.

WIRELESS CHARGING PAD

The available wireless charging pad accepts a wide range of devices with built-in charging capability. Simply set your phone with charging side down on the pad, located in the center console, while the vehicle is either running or in accessory mode. When your phone is fully charged, the unit will maintain it even while you're streaming music or making a call through the available SYNC® system.

Not all phones are compatible with wireless charging. Devices without built-in wireless charging require an additional manufacturer-approved receiver or sleeve. Wireless phone charger supports Qi.

TRUCK APPS

The available 8-inch LCD productivity screen puts valuable information on a wide variety of vehicle functions in front of you, with up to seven screens readily available through My View. Among them is a screen displaying towing functions, such as trailer brake controller and transmission tow/haul settings, vehicle pitch and steering angle, and profiles of up to 10 trailers. Choose the type of trailer connected (conventional, fifth-wheel or gooseneck) and go through a connection checklist that includes such items as mirrors adjusted properly, electrical wiring connected, lights functioning correctly, and others.

Not all phones are compatible with wireless charging. Devices without built-in wireless charging require an additional manufacturer-approved receiver or sleeve. Wireless phone charger supports Qi.
